Overview
What one click on Deploy does for a service or an agent: a commit to your Git repositories, an Argo CD sync to your cluster, and a URL with TLS in every environment.
GitOps
Turn on GitOps and every Deploy commits the namespace, config maps, secrets and Helm values of an environment to your repositories before anything is recorded as deployed.
Argo CD
Hand the GitOps repositories of a project to the Argo CD you already run: prepare its account and token, initialize, and re-align after environment changes.
Exposure
Give each environment a host and each service a path: every deploy commits a Gateway API Gateway per environment and an HTTPRoute per app, with TLS from cert-manager.
Config maps and secrets
Per-environment configuration for services and agents: config maps and secrets managed in the console, committed on Deploy and received by the container as environment variables.
Databases
Register the SQL databases of a project — PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server or Oracle — and test the connection from the console, with credentials encrypted at rest.
Rollback
Why Redeploy does not move what runs in Kubernetes, and how to bring a service back to a known-good state through a new commit that Argo CD applies.
